Subject– Application for one-day leave

Ma’am,
With all due respect and honor I, Yanbeni A, of class 9, Bombay Scottish School, Mumbai, would like to state that I would like to take a one-day leave tomorrow i.e. 28th of March 2023, because of my mother who is undergoing surgery. I am the oldest in my family and my younger siblings have exams tomorrow.

My dad is currently out of station and will be returning only the day after tomorrow. I would like to take leave tomorrow so that I would be able to care for my mother during a crucial time. I have no test tomorrow and I have already submitted all assignments and projects necessary for the upcoming internal markings.

I, therefore, kindly request you to grant me leave for which I shall remain ever grateful.
