  1. Our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, announced the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on March 12, 2021. 
  2. On August 15, 2023 , India will celebrate its 77th Independence Day.
  3. To commemorate this historic occasion, the government of India has launched “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav,” a year-long celebration of India.
  4. The “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” began in Sabarmati Ashram.
  5. This celebration commenced 75 weeks prior to the Independence Day 2022 would continue up to 15th August 2023.
