Good morning to everyone, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, the teachers, and my friends for letting me tell you about the constitution. When the Indian constitution, which took effect on November 26, 1949, was first introduced, it was ridiculed.
But, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and Jawahar Lal Nehru succeeded in uniting all the split states, which allowed them to achieve the seemingly impossible. One of the most intelligent persons, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, studied the constitutions of other nations and took the best parts to include in the Indian Constitution.
The original English version of the constitution contains 1,17,369 words, and it has undergone more than 100 amendments. All citizens’ fundamental rights are guaranteed, and part three of the constitution contains a list of these rights.
Moreover, it outlines the guiding principles of state policy and emphasizes the importance of advancing women, SC, and ST. It summarizes the lessons learned through the independence movement, whose only goal was to create a perfect society. Thank you.
