A very good morning to one and all present here. Today, I will be giving a short speech on the topic of ‘Dayanand Saraswati’.
Dayanand Saraswati was a famous Indian philosopher and ascetic. He was also a renowned social leader. He was also known as Maharshi Dayanand by the people.
Dayanand Saraswati is acclaimed to have been the founder of the Arya Samaj (Society of Aryans), which was a notable reform movement of the Vedic dharma.
“Back to the Vedas” is, in fact, the slogan of Swami Dayanand Saraswati. Dayanand Saraswati, in fact, had the ideal goal of reconnecting society with its ancient roots- its traditions. He firmly believed that going back to the Vedas was the most effective course of action to achieve this.
Allow me to conclude by quoting one of his inspiring quotes, “People say that they understand what I say and I am simple. I am not simple, I am clear.”
Thank you.
