Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam also known as A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was born on 15 October 1931. He was an Indian aerospace scientist and statesman who served as the 11th president of India from 2002 to 2007. He was a lifelong bachelor.
The reason behind this is that he wanted to help the country; as most say. While some say that he wanted to get married, he couldn’t get married due to his tight busy schedule and long years of the mission. He worked really hard for India and sacrificed all his life to contribute to uplifting the name of India.
With time, he became known as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missiles and launch vehicle technology. He died on 27 July 2015 while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management Shillong.
