“An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.”
This is a quote made by none other than the great Mahatma Gandhi, a man whose name is known and revered across the world.
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, crowned ‘The Father of the Nation’ of India was renowned for securing Independence not just for India but also for South Africa.
Despite being discriminated against on the basis of the colour of his skin, Gandhi rose against the oppression and advocated for the rights of those underprivileged as well, being the lawyer that he is.
He continues to inspire to date, especially in his teachings on Ahimsa or Non-violence.
