Respected Principal, teachers and my dear friends, a wonderful morning to all of you. Today on this special occasion, I would like to speak some words on the topic- Adolescence.
The period between childhood and adulthood is known as adolescence. During this phase, a child goes through physical and mental development and ultimately becomes a full-fledged adult. Adolescence usually stretches between the ages of thirteen and nineteen and is also known as teenage.
Teens go through puberty during adolescence, and the many changes that take place as a result often make it a turbulent time. However, adolescence is also a wonderful time when we come to understand our own selves better, and it is crucial for building our character. Some might argue that it is the most important period of our lives because what we learn during adolescence comes to define our adult selves.
To conclude, we must cherish the precious time that is our adolescence! Thank you for listening to me so attentively.
