Good morning to everyone, I would like to express my gratitude to the principal, the teachers, and my friends for letting me tell you about empowerment. The capacity for autonomy and decision-making is a key component of empowerment.
Yet, empowerment is a very individualized idea. Empowerment is giving someone power, assisting the weak in gaining strength, raising one’s self-esteem, assisting one in being assertive or self-confident, enabling one to face injustice and oppression, and supporting one in fighting for one’s rights.
When a person gains the freedom to think and act as they like, to make their own decisions, and to realize their full potential as competent, equal members of society, they have achieved empowerment.
A cognitive concept of a person’s ability to affect or manage actual social variables, political authority, and legal rights is what is meant by empowerment. It is a multi-level expression that refers to people, groups, and the community as a whole. Thank you.
