5 Minute Speech on Christmas Day in English for Students

Christmas is a day celebrated by Christians on 25th December every year. It is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. On this day, it is seen that not only Christians but other religions also take part in this celebration. It is the season of merry-making. Families come together and bond well. Many traditions take place among different families. Christians go to church and attend concerts in churches. They pray and have a feast together. Most importantly people especially Christians remember the birth of Christ and how the birth of Christ changed the world to a whole new extent. People decorate their houses by designing and hanging lights and putting up Christmas trees. Children are excited about presents and parents are happy for the family to get together. It is a time when we are re-reminded of gratefulness, thankfulness and most importantly faithfulness. People in snowy areas make snowmen right out of their porches. Families go on vacations together. It is a beautiful time of the year to come together after the busy life ahead. Globally, the majority of the people working are given breaks during this season, and students are also given a break. Gifts are exchanged among neighbours and cakes are given to close ones.  The importance of coming together and making fond memories is a treasure that this season teaches us all.
