My school’s name is Don Bosco Public School (_________). It is my temple of learning and my favourite place of enjoying. My school building is of yellow and red colour, it is beautiful, big and airy. It has a big playground where children can play happily.
My school has many trees which give fresh air to start our day with lots of positive energy. There are smart classes in my school where we can watch videos that make our studies easy and fun.
My school also gives us many chances to participate in different competitions. I like to take part in drawing and essay writing competitions very much.
The environment of my school is very disciplined. This encourages me to be disciplined in my life also. I learn good manners and moral values in my school. I have many subjects which I learn in school, like English, Maths, EVS, Social Science, Hindi, Art and Craft, as well as sports.
In this way, my school helps me in keeping my brain fit and body healthy. It is compulsory in my school to take yoga classes from class five onwards. In my school every major festival and important days, like Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti, Labours’ day, Eid, Diwali, Christmas etc. are celebrated with special assemblies and performances. This helps us to learn more about our country and the world.
Every week we have one library period when we can read our favourite books from the vast library of my school. Our teachers also take us to do fun experiments in the school laboratories.
I love to visit my school’s computer lab also as there we can learn to draw on MS Paint and learn many new things about computers. The teachers in my school are also very wise and helpful. I love my school because it helps me to grow and become a good citizen.
