Galileo di Vincenzo Bonaiuti de’ Galilei is also known as Galileo Galilei. He was born on 15 February 1564 and died on 8 January 1642. He was an Italian astronomer. He is known as one of the most popular and well-known astronomers especially because of his discovery.
Galileo argued for a long time that Earth and other planets revolve around the sun and he did prove that to the world. One of the most well-known discoveries is the four most massive moons of Jupiter, now known as the Galilean moons. He was suffering from heart palpitations and fever and that was his cause of death at the age of 77. He died in Arcetri near Florence, Italy.
