Dear Amina,
Hey. How are you? I hope this letter finds you healthy and well. By God’s grace I am also doing
good. The other day I was reading a book about a persevering artist who repeatedly faces
rejection and failure but he continues to battle all odds. In the end, he finally emerges
successful. That book taught me a powerful lesson on will power and I just have to share it with you.
Will power is what keeps us going when life challenges us with obstacles that we reckon are impossible to win against. This ability to keep fighting is not something that is innate, over time you become resilient. The key to maintaining this power is by setting realistic goals and keeping consistency. The strive to achieve and accomplish must persist.
The thing about will power is, when you fail it uses that failure as a motivator for future actions. However, it is important to keep in mind that sometimes we will face failure and our will power will fail us too but that is completely fine. What is beneficial is to learn from past mistakes and failures and use them as motivation for coming challenges.
I hope I was able to encourage you and I eagerly await to hear back from you. Give my regards to aunty and uncle.
Yours lovingly,
Kiran U
